Operating hours are 7:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday
I am closed all Statutory Holidays
I am also generally closed for approximately 10 days in the summer and 1-2 weeks at Christmas. 

I will have space for children starting in September of 2025.  

Parent Fees

As set by the Alberta Government

​Full time care = $326.25
Part time care = $230.00

Daily Routine

Our daily routine is based on the group of children's interests and developmental needs. I set up my day home to support a child-led free play environment. Children have access to art supplies at all times. I will also do adult led activities when the children request them, or when it seems appropriate. Examples of adult led activities are baking, reading stories, gross motor activities, board games, etc.

9:00 - 9:30 Snack
9:30 - 11:30 Free Play (Indoor or Outdoor depending on weather)
11:30 - 12:00 Lunch
12:00 - 2:15 Nap Time or Quiet Time
2:15 - 3:30 Pick Up Children from School (Play after school outdoors if weather is nice)
3:30 - 4:00 Snack
4:00 - 5:00 Free Play, Children Leave

Menu

I serve healthy snacks, and lunches that are also child friendly. I encourage all the children to try everything that is served, but I never force them to eat. Meals and snacks are served at appropriate times, in sufficient quantities and in accordance with each child’s needs. I am knowledgable about Celiac Disease and have in the past accommodated gluten free, dairy free, and egg free diets. Unfortunately, at this time I am unable to provide a nut free home. 

Illness Policy

I follow all standards, rules, and regulations put out by Alberta Health Services, Davar Child Care Society, and Alberta Day Home Licensing Officers. It is important for day home families to have a back up plan in the event that their child is ill or the day home is closed unexpectedly due to illness.
